10/22/2011: Police in Wakefield, MA., have arrested a man they suspect robbed two area banks while dressed in drag. Patrick J. O'Connell, 28, is believed to be the cross-dressing perpetrator of two bank robberies that occurred in February of 2010. In both robberies, police say the suspect entered the bank wearing a large headscarf, earrings, sunglasses and lipstick, and passed the teller a note demanding cash. The case remained cold for over a year, until a tip led police to O'Connell.
