Adrian Havill is the author of  The Mother, the Son, and the Socialite, the definitive account of the Kimes case. In May of 2001, a CBS movie-of-the week adaptation of the book, premiered. Mary Tyler Moore starred as Sante Kimes, Gabriel Olds was Kenny,  and Jean Stapleton played Irene Silverman.
